Spittle flies
Insane eyes
Widen,
The whites exposed now to the hateful hail
Of malicious stinging torments,
A nearby cup serves as Unholy Grail
Satanic wrath released in blasting torrents.
Tunneled vision dims, hazed and blurry,
Voices fade beneath the din,
Senses numb, the Rant will bury.
Reaper, notify the next of kin.
Heaving chest, constricted breathing,
Nostrils flare, lips curl, seething…….
Sinewed muscles clench against the strain of rage
As a captured bull rams his constricting cage.
A single, bulging vein pulsates on cue,
Fast-moving stream of hemorrhagic fury
Intensifies and rushes through
Twists and turns of veinous circuitry
Empowering madmen to the point of
Exquisite insanity,
Pointless profanity,
Fragmenting ferocity
At warp speed velocity.
Shrapnel wounds, a look to kill
Razors hurled, napalm burns
Consuming, intense……….the world goes still,
In the Moment of No Return.
The bitter taste of regret
Lingers on anguished lips,
But fools soon forget
Their fierce, reckless rip.
Rage Has No Rules.

Nothing mightier than the pen at times like this. I remember the days when RAGE was prevalent in my life, brought on by the demons of my past.
The rage is gone, retired for good. Now what's left is a kinder, gentler, humble poet who loves to spill his ink mixed occasionally with a little red wine and keeps me calm:0)) Great scribe, you nailed this one, Bravo.
