Welcome to my Profile Page! A friend gave me the name of Exotic Hippie Queen, and it stuck. My life took a turn for the crazy 3 years ago when my marriage of 25 years to my soulmate burnt out like a Super Nova. An adopted only child, I learned that I am the biological daughter of a published poet (a book called Deep Emerald) & Hallmark card author (mother) and one of Walt Disney's first illustrators (father). My great aunt married one of the Scott brothers (Scott paper products), but that's a long, strange story. I work in the fields of education and health, where I find purpose in my life, and volunteer as a poetry coach helping teens prepare for Louder Than A Bomb, the world's largest poetry slam, through Triple Threat Mentoring. Writing has always been a passion of mine, as well as photography, making jewelry, reading, running, music, the environment, alternative medicine, organics, animals and motorcycles.  The fire & rain of my soul journey flows into poetry's river, wild and reckless.  Peace and love to you............
